We strive to enrich the lives of the residents of Tyrone by providing safe, welcoming parks and recreation facilities, diverse recreation and human services activities for people of all ages to play, learn, build community, create experiences, and raise families.
The Future of Shamrock Park!

As part of the 2023 SPLOST, the Town has taken action on citizen’s desire to revitalize the downtown area starting with Shamrock Park! Starting in 2024, the Town contracted with TSW consultants and their team of landscape architects and planners alongside a 10-member citizen steering committee to re-envision the park for future generations.
See the images below outlining the improvements intended to take place over the 5-year SPLOST collection cycle. Different elements and sections associated with the park improvement will occur in phases over the SPLOST collection cycle starting with the stage and pavilion.
